I got hurt

Love – is divine. Anything that is divine is meant to live on. Then why we get hurt in love? Why is it that if love is a divine philosophy it lasts with a tragic ending? Have we ever pondered over what ACTUALLY we want in our lives? Is it the wealth, image, reputation, love, and success we’re running after?

We’ve associated our happiness with materialism and people. We’ve settled Dunya in our hearts. Whereas the heart was created for the remembrance of Allah. We’ve left our Deen way behind. Today, all that we are running after is status, money and success.

Why are we running after these materialistic affairs?

The answer to it is fairly simple, just to show off, to tell others that we are better off than you.

Is this your aim in life? Is this ALONE you were made for?

If this is where your alignment resides, you need to set right your means and ends. Have you ever pondered over why an emotional attachment with human beings and materialism lands in a heart rending pain? Heart was put inside of us for remembrance of Allah (SWT). It’s Only Allah alone who is meant to live in this heart. The philosophical notion that describes it best is that our heart has a hole inside. All we are endeavoring to do throughout our lives is to fill this hole with false love, false attachments, false relationships.

But why is it that every time we end up losing in this quest? Because we are trying to fill this hole with worldly pleasure, whereas this hole can only be filled with Zikr and remembrance of Allah (SWT). And that’s why we are miserably failing and falling apart every time. This failure isn’t God’s wrath. This failure is a blessing Allah (SWT) has bestowed upon you to rectify your emotional attachments. It’s an indication Allah is blessing you with to bring about a change in your emotional attachments, SubhanAllah!

Allah (SWT) says inThe Qur’aan;

“Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest” – Qur’aan ( 13 : 28 )

No person, no money, no success can bring you peace from within. It’s Allah Rabbul Izzat alone that can spur peace in your hearts. Indeed remembrance of Allah is a remedy for hard hearts.

Allah said in Surat al-Baqara, 152:

“Remember Me and I will remember you.” [2:152]

The extent of His love is so humongous, that we the oblivion ones aren’t even bothered when Aza’an is called. Yet He remembers us SubhanAllah. We’ve closed our door towards the understanding of His religion, but His doors are opened

for us to revert, SubhanAllah.

Allah says in The Holy Qura’an in

Surah 3. The Family Of ‘Imran, The House Of ‘Imran verse 29;

Say: “Whether ye hide what is in your hearts or reveal it, Allah knows it all: He knows what is in the heavens, and what is on earth. And Allah has power over all things”

When we become ignorant towards zikr, we ultimately are depriving our hearts with nourishment. Our heart starves for His zikr and all this in one way or the other inflicts our soul (Arabic: Ruh). And when our Ruh gets inflicted our faith stumbles, our hope staggers. Dejection grows over. Depression, anxiety takes over us in no time. Every wrong deed results in a stain on our heart. We don’t realize because we don’t ponder. And when we suffer a setback, our Ruh stumbles. This is what happens when you settle people in hearts. People aren’t created to give them a stature in hearts. People and worldly pleasures are to be kept in hands. Heart deserves God’s love. Nothing else can bring about peace to it.

Peace out. Image
